Enchiladas
1 lb chicken breast, cubed
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 can (16 oz) fat-free refried beans
1 c wheat germ
6 whole wheat flour tortillas
1 can (10 oz) spicy salsa
3 oz reduced-fat Cheddar cheese, shredded
Salsa and sour cream for garnish

How to put it all together:
Cook the chicken, pepper, and spices in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat for 4 minutes. Take off from the heat and add the beans and wheat germ. Add 3/4 cup chicken filling to each tortilla, roll up, and place seam side down in a nonstick baking dish. Top with the salsa. Cover and bake at 350 F for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Decoration with salsa, sour cream, and cheese.

1 pound lean ground beef
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

In a large bowl, whisk egg and add everything else, mixing it with your hand until well blended. Divide mixture evenly into a 6-cup nonstick muffin pan. Preheat the oven to 375 F and bake for 25 minutes.

Bbq Pork Recipe
1/2 c uncooked instant brown rice
1/2 c frozen mixed vegetables
2 center-cut pork chops, 1 1/4 inches thick
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp mustard
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 c bottled barbecue sauce
1 c applesauce

Cook the brown rice according to directions. Adding the vegetables as it cooks. Place the pork chops in a broiler pan. Mix together the garlic powder, mustard, brown sugar, and barbecue sauce, and brush the mixture on the chops. Put the broiler pan on the top oven rack, 4 to 5 inches from the heat source, and broil for 8 to 10 minutes per side. Serve with the rice, vegetables, and applesauce.

Pesto Pasta
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 c walnut pieces
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 c torn baby spinach leaves
1 tsp dried basil
4 oz whole-wheat spaghetti, cooked
2 Tbsp shredded part-skim mozzarella
Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make this wholesome supper recipe. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add the nuts and toast them for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the garlic, spinach, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes more, turning frequently. Toss with the cooked pasta and top with cheese. Makes 2 servings per 1-cup serving

Simple Dip

1 container of softened cream cheese

1 jar of red pepper jelly

Spinach Dip

1 container freezing spinach, thawed and drained thoroughly

1 container softened cream cheese

1 can of Rotel

Melt cheese and add Rotel. Stir fully and serve with tortilla chips.

Mushroom Cheese Dip

1 pound sharp cheddar cheese

1 can Cream of Mushroom soup

Melt cheddar cheese over a duplicate boiler. Then add soup and mix thoroughly. Serve warm with tortilla chips or Fritos for one of the most strangely tasty dips ever. These dips are great for casual home use, or parties like birthdays, barbeques, and baby showers.

If you have a slow cooker and a blender, you can make your own. Buy good quality ingredients for production baby purees, especially if you are going to frost them.

If you have never thought about using the slow cooker to make purees for your miniature one, it is a great time to start experimenting. All you need is a slow cooker, some vegetables, some water, and a blender. You can use any vegetables you like and icy ones work as well as fresh ones. Easy Carrot Puree

Most babies like carrots and you can get organic ones. This is a good recipe to make a lot of, because it freezes well and slow cooks well too. Wash your carrots and peel them to remove the skin as well as any traces of pesticide residue and bacteria, which might be lurking on it.

Put the peeled carrots in your slow cooker and add enough water to come halfway up them. Cook on high for three or four hours, or until you can pierce the biggest carrot with a fork.

Process them in a food processor or blender and do not worry if you get some of the water in with them. When then blender is three quarters full with carrots, add some of the cooking water and process them until the texture is smooth.

For older babies, you might want a chunkier consistency. This composition will keep in the refrigerator for a join of days or you can frost it in tightly sealed, freezer-safe containers. Thaw the carrot puree by holding the holder under warm running water or leave one in the refrigerator overnight.

Other Vegetable Baby Foods

You can make baby purees with other vegetables too. For a turn to the carrot puree, wash some sweet potatoes and yellow squash. Cut them into chunks and add them to the crockpot with some icy green beans.

Frozen vegetables are quite healthy because they are picked at the optimum time of ripeness and the nutrients are preserved when they are flash frozen. Add enough water to come halfway up the vegetables and cook on high for two or three hours, or until everything is tender.

You can blend the puree with an immersion blender, a food processor, or a accepted blender. You might need to add some water and, if so, add it gently so you do not accidentally add too much. You can frost the resulting puree in ice cube trays. When the cubes are set, you can empty them into freezer bags. Alternatively, use tightly sealed, freezer-safe plastic containers.

Also, you can give grapes as long as you cut them up into extra tiny pieces. Giving a whole grape could cause choking. For breakfast, try some fruits and a grain, such as cut up toast or some cheerios. Just make sure that the fruits are not hard and can be chewed by a baby that has no teeth. This should keep you safe from choking hazards. For lunch, start out by giving cooked vegetables, or even canned vegetables. See which ones your baby likes and then go from there. When they are used to eating the vegetables, you can subject out into other sources of food. You can make grilled cheese, meatballs, or even just buy some spaghetti-os. And you can do the same thing for dinner.

It's Ok, even good, for your baby to have vegetables or meats that have been lightly seasoned. But if you worry about the seasonings in your own meal, you can take out baby's part before you season the pot or pan. Or make baby's part in a small, isolate pot or pan.

When you go out to eat your baby can have a small part of what's on your plate. Most restaurants offer steamed vegetables as a side option, so invite that.

To process a steamed or sautéed veggie, just place it into the baby food mill and start turning the handle. Apply a fair number of pressure to the food mill to get the food to push up through the screen. This will happen unmistakably with most vegetables and fruits. You don't need to pre-cook softer fruits and vegetables like avocado or banana, but most will need to be steamed.

The bowl on top will begin to fill with pureed foods. You can scoop some of this off if you wish to. Otherwise just keep running the baby food mill until no food is advent out. Most of the time when you open the food mill there will whether be nothing left below, or only the tougher parts of the food.

If you want to grind meats up, go ahead and cook gently first. Then cut the meat speedily into small cubes. Place in the tube and begin turning. Meat will puree in a baby food mill, though it often takes a wee more exertion than vegetables or fruits. This is Ok and normal. This breaking up of the meat makes it much easier for your baby to eat, and meat offers necessary iron, protein, and fats to your baby. It's worth it! Remember that tough parts of the meat, or gristly, may not grind. It's fine to discard that.
